Training Resource Description

This training webinar from EO4GEO focuses on the identification of Urban Heat Islands (UHIs) within a spatial planning context, emphasising the importance of recognising these areas for informed decision-making. It covers how Earth Observation (EO) surface temperature time series can support UHI detection, including interpreting the data and deriving relevant maps. The webinar also explores how to integrate EO-derived information with other data sources for a more comprehensive UHI analysis, while addressing the limitations posed by the spatial resolution of EO surface temperature data.
